Click one to play the exact second. Interviews, vlogs, podcasts, multi-cam talking heads: you stop re-watching, you start finding.

Open it on any clip from the inspector and three jobs share the same window. Read what was said. Drag-select the segments you want and send them straight to a paper edit. Style the captions you’ll ship: eight animation presets from Hard Cut to Word Reveal, a nine-zone position grid, font and color and weight per caption, down to a single word. Build a paper edit and the captions follow with your styling intact. Assemble a mosaic and captions transcribe fresh from the new cut, timed to the words. Export as a Final Cut Pro captioned timeline, alpha MOV for finishing, or universal .srt, .vtt, .txt, or .json.

Paper Edit

Build a rough cut from a script of your interviews.

Open every clip’s transcript as one continuous script. Highlight the lines that matter. Stack them in the order you want. Send the result to Final Cut Pro as a sequence with the cuts already made. Premiere and Resolve XML available too. The slog of cutting interview footage, mostly handled before you open the timeline.

Write the line you want, even if nobody said it that way. ReelChest scans every transcript in the project, finds matching words across different clips, and snaps them into a sequence in the order you wrote them. Promo edits, supercuts, music video voice, sizzle reels: built from the words you have, in the cadence you want. Stuck on the script? Export every transcript in the project as one file, paste it into ChatGPT or Claude, ask for a draft built only from your own words. Drop the result back in. The matcher takes it from there.

    Fix, retime, or restyle a single word without touching the rest. Word timings come from on-device speech-to-text, refined against the audio.

    See what was said in any clip without leaving the browser. Color labels, tags, and full-text filters built in.

  • Premiere and Resolve.

    Final Cut Pro is the deepest integration, but XML export sends your cuts to Premiere and Resolve too. Same paper edits, same mosaic assemblies, just a different finishing app.
